ECP Asset Management appoints a director

ECP Asset Management has appointed Amy Teh to her newly created lead role in charge of partnering with clients to deliver ECP’s investment capabilities.

Teh’s appointment comes as ECP Asset Management hosted its institutional distribution following the appointment of Lachlan Hodgkinson to a similar role. Teh would work closely with Hodgkinson to develop and execute ECP’s distribution strategy.

Teh’s career in financial services spans more than 17 years, coming from Franklin Templeton, where she was responsible for investments and consultant relations. In this role, she managed relationships with key client groups and was responsible for developing and executing Franklin Templeton’s business strategy.

Prior to that, Teh held strategy and distribution positions at Colonial First State and was also an investment consultant at Willis Towers Watson.

ECP Asset Management Founder and Chairman Manny Pohl said Teh has an impressive track record in maintaining and building strong client relationships.

“Amy brings deep industry knowledge and experience to ECP and will be instrumental in working with customers across a number of channels,” said Pohl.

“Amy joins the company at a pivotal time in ECP’s development, when demand and interest in our investment strategies are growing strongly.

“Our new distribution team will be well placed to capitalize on this interest as we move forward in the local market.”
