Strategas Macro Thematic Opportunities ETF (SAMT) Crosses $60 Million Asset Threshold

NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Strategas Asset Management today announced that its Strategas Macro Thematic Opportunities ETF (SAMT) has surpassed $60 million in assets under management. As of September 2, the fund’s assets were $62,904,239.

SAMT is an actively managed thematic rotation ETF, backed by Strategas’ leading macroeconomic research. The Fund’s management team seeks to invest in three to five identified themes at any given time, adjusting thematic positioning as the macro environment changes, providing a more opportunistic approach to thematic investing than was previously available to ETF investors.

“Thematic investing required a new approach. By actively modifying SAMT’s portfolio holdings to reflect the changing macro environment, the Fund can potentially help investors access the benefits of thematic approaches while avoiding some of the pitfalls that can arise with a static allocation to areas. specific to the market,” said Nicholas Bohnsack, CEO. of Strategas Asset Management and portfolio manager for SAMT. “We are delighted that the Fund has passed the $60 million mark, but we believe we are just getting started.”

Currently, SAMT’s portfolio is positioned on the themes of continued inflation, a move towards de-globalization, quantitative easing and allocation to more defensive sectors, as the strength of the dollar is expected to weigh on stocks more cyclical.

In addition to SAMT, the company also offers the Strategas Global Policy Opportunities ETF (SAGP), which uses Strategas’ proprietary supercyclical “lobbying intensity” analytical framework to build a portfolio of global equities that is leveraged to achieve successful public policy outcomes with tactical inclinations. to areas of the market that we believe will do well.
